I once lost a dog I was taking care of and then I decided to take it on a walk, I used those leashes that can go like 15 feet then you press a button and it retracts, well we were a far distance from our house and then I decide to let the dog walk without me holding the plastic part and then shortly after the plastic scraped on the ground and startled the dog then the dog moved and the thing started bouncing on the ground and the dog starts running thinking it is being chased and then I start chasing the dog but he was so fast he was gone and he ran towards the opposite direction of the house then I lost him in the neighborhood and I was so scared because I just lost the dog I was taking care of and I knew the owners would be so mad then I went around the neighborhood looking everywhere for it and could not find it then I went home and I have no idea how but the dog was there, I was even praying that I found the dog and I’m so so glad it was there
